A Guide to 1-to-1 will outline a variety of topics related to GISD's 1:1 iPad initiative. The course is structured to allow for exploration, reflection, and planning. It is suggested that you work through the course on your iPad so you will have the experience and understanding of how your students will be accessing your content, activities, and assessments.
This course is designed to give you a brief overview of the 1:1 learning environment. Activities have been designed to function on both a desktop computer and an iPad. It is preferred that you work through the course on your iPad so you can get a feel of how you can incorporate these types of activities with your students when they all have an iPad in your classroom. Something to remember, a 1:1 learning environment can be a more efficient environment, one that can deliver richer content while providing more support to students than traditional classroom settings.
